QuiQ Invoices
Setting up Quiq Invoices
Set your business details and numbering, pick a payment gateway, and send your first invoice.
Prerequisites
- A Stripe or Paystack account if you want customers to pay online directly from the invoice. Skip this and pick "None" to just track status manually against your own payment instructions.
1. Set your business details
Go to Invoice Settings and fill in your Business ID (tax/VAT/registration number), business address, default payment terms, default notes, and payment instructions (bank details, etc.) — these apply to every new invoice, estimate, and credit note so you're not retyping them each time.
2. Set your numbering
Under the same page, set the prefix used for each document type — Invoice prefix, Estimate prefix, and Credit note prefix (defaults are INV-, EST-, and CN-).
3. Turn on payment reminders
Enable reminders and set how many days after the due date each one goes out (comma-separated, e.g. 3,7,14) — QuiQSol sends them automatically from there.
4. Choose a payment gateway
Pick Stripe, Paystack, or None if you'd rather collect payment outside QuiQSol and just track status manually.
5. Create your first invoice
Go to Invoices → New invoice. Search for an existing customer or type a new one's name and email, add line items (with an optional per-line percentage or fixed discount), tax, and a due date.
6. Send and track
A new invoice starts as a Draft — nothing is emailed until you send it. From there it moves through Sent → Partially Paid/Paid, or Overdue if the due date passes unpaid, with balance due tracked live. Recurring, Estimates, and Credit Notes in the sidebar follow the same settings and numbering.
