Privacy Policy

Account information you provide directly: name, work email, organization name, and billing details (processed by our payment processor, Paystack; QuiQSol does not store full card numbers).

Workspace people: the account owner, the billing and account contacts an administrator names in Settings, and every invited teammate. For each we hold name, email, phone where given, role, workspace and when they were last active.

Customer Data you or your organization input into QuiQSol to use the Service: contacts, deals, tickets, chat and email content, and related records.

Usage data collected automatically: pages visited, feature interactions, device/browser information, and IP address, used to operate and improve the Service and for security monitoring (see our Cookie Policy for details on cookies specifically).

To provide, maintain, and secure the Service; to communicate with you about your account, billing, and product updates; to provide customer support; and, in aggregate/de-identified form, to understand product usage and improve QuiQSol.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your Customer Data to train models or share it with other customers.

Service emails: account, security, billing, renewal and product notices go to workspace owners, named contacts and teammates. We send these on the basis of legitimate interest and to perform our contract with your organization, under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the GDPR. They are part of running your account and continue while the account is active.

Promotional emails: product news, tips and offers go only to people who said yes themselves, by ticking the marketing box at sign-up, when accepting an invite, or in Settings. The box is never pre-ticked. We record when and where each person gave consent.

Every promotional email carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing, or switching off QuiQSol news and offers in Settings, withdraws consent across every QuiQSol workspace that uses the same email address, and takes effect immediately.

To resolve support issues, a small number of authorized QuiQSol operations staff can see a read-only list of a workspace's team: names, emails, roles, status, last activity, two-factor status, who invited each person, and the named contacts. This view does not include your Customer Data such as CRM records or messages. Every view is recorded in an internal audit log showing who viewed which workspace and when.

When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of QuiQSol, our users, or the public.

In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to the same protections described here.

When you choose to connect a Google account, QuiQSol requests only the permissions the feature you are turning on needs. Google Calendar (calendar.events and free/busy): to check your availability, create and update meetings booked through QuiQ Meetings, and keep them in sync with your calendar. YouTube (youtube.readonly and yt-analytics.readonly): to show your channel, video, and audience statistics in Social Intelligence. Google Business Profile (business.manage): to show and respond to your business listing's reviews from Social Intelligence. Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Sheets are used only when you connect them to send and receive email from QuiQSol, attach files you choose, or sync rows you select.

Google user data is used only to provide and improve these user-facing features inside your own workspace. It is never sold, never used for advertising, never used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models, and never read by people except with your explicit permission, for security purposes, or to comply with law.

Google user data is never sent to any AI or machine-learning service. QuiQSol's AI features (QuiQ Intelligence) run on Anthropic's Claude API and process only the content those features are applied to, such as help desk tickets, WhatsApp and social media messages, and meeting transcripts recorded in QuiQ Meetings. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data sent through its API is not used to train its models. Administrators can switch every AI feature off for their workspace in Settings.

QuiQSol's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can disconnect a Google account at any time from the app you connected it in, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Access tokens are stored encrypted and deleted when you disconnect.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Organization admins can export or delete Customer Data directly from QuiQSol; individual data-subject requests can be sent to privacy@quiqsol.com. We retain account and Customer Data for as long as your organization’s account is active. When a workspace owner deletes the workspace, its data is removed from our live systems at once and remaining backup copies expire on the backup provider’s rolling schedule. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

QuiQSol is based in Nigeria and hosts the application and database in the European Union. Some sub-processors operate from the United States or the United Kingdom. We transfer personal data out of Nigeria only on a lawful basis under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, such as contractual data protection terms with the receiving provider, and for EEA and UK data we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and connected-account tokens are encrypted again with a separate key. If a personal data breach is likely to put people’s rights at risk, we notify the Nigeria Data Protection Commission within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, tell affected customers without undue delay, and tell affected individuals directly where the risk to them is high. QuiQ Intelligence features run only when a user starts one, on the content that feature needs, through Anthropic’s Claude API. Their output is a suggestion for a person to review; QuiQSol makes no decision with legal or similarly significant effect on anyone by automated means alone.

QuiQSol is a business service and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

If you believe we have not handled your personal data lawfully, contact us first at privacy@quiqsol.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng), or, in the EEA or UK, to your local data protection authority.
