Setting up Quiq Marketing
Set your sender identity, verify a sending domain, bring in subscribers, and send your first campaign.
Prerequisites
- Access to your domain's DNS if you want to verify a sending domain (recommended, not required to send).
- A list of subscribers who've actually agreed to receive email from you — importing doesn't obtain consent on its own.
1. Set your sender identity
Go to Marketing Campaign → Account Settings. Fill in a Sender name and Sender email — this is what shows in your recipient's "From" field. Turn on Use a custom Reply-To if replies should land somewhere other than your sender address.
2. Verify a sending domain
Under the Domains tab of the same page, add the domain you're sending from and add the DNS record it gives you. Sending from a verified domain is what keeps campaigns out of spam folders — an unverified domain still sends, but with worse deliverability.
3. Bring in your subscribers
Go to Subscribers and either Import CSV file (duplicates are matched by email automatically) or paste rows copied straight from Excel or Sheets. Importing never sends a confirmation email on its own — only import contacts who've actually agreed to receive email from you.
4. Build a campaign
Go to Campaigns → New campaign. Choose a regular campaign or an A/B split campaign to test two variations against a sample group first. Pick your audience — all subscribers, a specific list, or a segment — write the content, and send yourself a test before it goes out.
5. Automate the follow-up (optional)
Go to Automations to build a journey off a real trigger (a new subscriber, a link click, a date) — the same node-graph builder Quiq Automation uses, scoped to Marketing. Publish it once your flow is ready.
6. Send, schedule, or let it run
Send a campaign immediately or schedule it for later. Every send reports back into Reports & Analytics on the same page — opens, clicks, and (for A/B campaigns) which variant won.
