Running events with QuiQ Meetings
Host workshops, meetups and webinars: a registration page, guest approval, waitlists, paid spots, co-hosts and door check-in by QR code.
On this page
Events live in Meetings, under Events. Create a workshop, meetup or webinar, invite guests and manage every RSVP in one place.
1. Create the event
Click to create an event and fill in Basics: a banner image, the title and About this event. Blank lines start a new paragraph and links become clickable. Set when it starts and ends, and the timezone.
2. Set the location
Choose In person, Online or Both.
- In person: add the address and an area that is always shown. Tick Register to see the address so only confirmed guests see the exact address.
- Online: paste your Zoom, Meet or Teams link, shown to guests below the event.
3. Add hosts
Add teammates as Co-hosts. Invite people outside your workspace as an External team, each as a Co-host or a Moderator. Their invites are sent the moment you save the event.
4. Set attendance rules
- Capacity: leave blank for unlimited, or set a number and Enable a waitlist once this event is full.
- Requires confirmation: approve each registration before it counts.
- Door check-in: Self-service or Staffed.
Webinars always use a waiting room, so you admit guests when you are ready.
5. Build the registration form
Name and email are built in. Add a phone number, then Custom questions with a label and options, and a confirmation note guests see after they register.
6. Charge for a spot
Tick Charge guests for a spot, then set the price, the currency and how many minutes a spot is held while a guest pays.
7. Share it
Copy the registration link and share it in a campaign or directly. Tick Private to keep the event reachable by direct link only, hidden from your public events page.
8. Manage guests
The guest list filters by Confirmed, Waiting room, Waitlisted, Declined and Revoked. View each guest's answers, approve or decline registrations, admit guests from the waiting room, and withdraw an invite. The guest is emailed every time.
9. Check guests in at the door
Open Scan tickets and point the camera at a guest's ticket QR code. Guests open their ticket from the link in their confirmation email.
What happens if I cancel an event?
Everyone who registered is told by email. Deleting an event cannot be undone.
