Setting up the QuiQ Knowledge Base
Write help articles once, and your website chat, public help centre, Help Desk and QuiQ Intelligence all answer from them.
On this page
Open Knowledge Base from the Apps menu. Your articles feed your website chat's Help tab, your public help centre, QuiQ Intelligence and the Help Desk. Drafts and team-only articles never leave your workspace.
1. Write your first article
Click Write. Give the article a title phrased the way customers ask, for example How do I reset my password?, then write the answer. The editor has headings, bold, lists and links, and a Preview tab.
Set Who can read it: published for customers, or team only. You can add a YouTube, Vimeo or Loom link as a video.
2. Group articles into categories
Under Categories, add groups such as Billing or Orders. Customers find answers faster in your help centre when articles are grouped.
3. Turn on your public help centre
Under Help centre, give it a title and an introduction, then switch it to Live. It shows your published articles to anyone with the link and to search engines. Copy the address to share it, or open it to check.
4. Write what customers searched for and did not find
Customers searched for these and found nothing lists the last 30 days of searches from your website chat and help centre that matched no article. Write the answer, or dismiss a search you will not cover.
5. Keep articles current
Each article shows how often customers read it, how many found it helpful, when it was updated and who wrote it. Every edit keeps a version, and Restore this version brings an earlier one back.
